At Complete Stillness, we believe wellness begins with awareness and develops through listening, knowledge, presence, and partnership. We center our care on the whole person—their thoughts, emotions, physical body, experiences, and, when meaningful to them, spiritual nature. Each of these dimensions can influence experiences of pain, stress, and disconnection from the body.
Our approach is informed by current knowledge and evidence while remaining respectful of time-honored healing practices.
Awareness Before Change
During each wellness session, we check in before and after care. This helps clients observe changes, deepen their self-awareness, and recognize what may be helpful. We want each person to feel cared for, listened to, and better prepared to support their well-being.
Healing
We believe each person has the potential for healing, adaptation, and growth. The practitioner brings experience, knowledge, and skill, while the client brings knowledge of their own body, openness, receptivity, and a willingness to participate in their health.
Healing does not always mean that a condition will be cured. Sometimes the condition remains, but our relationship with it changes, allowing us to cope differently. At other times, the condition or its symptoms may improve significantly. Every person and situation is different.
Continuity of Care
Healing and meaningful change often take time. Continuity of care allows the process to unfold gradually. Through ongoing care, individuals can better understand themselves, recognize what works for them, and learn practices to incorporate into daily life. Over time, this can build greater confidence and independence in caring for their well-being.
Spiritual Autonomy and Free Will
Reiki, Yoga, and Meditation may include a spiritual component, with space to explore consciousness, meaning, a higher power, or a deeper connection with oneself.
Spirituality is a deeply personal and sacred process, and it may not be an area of interest for everyone. We respect each person’s spiritual autonomy and free will. No belief is imposed, and spiritual exploration is included only when it is welcomed and meaningful to the individual.
Service, Responsibility, and Presence
Serving others is both an honor and a duty. As individuals heal, adapt, and grow, the effects can extend into their relationships and communities, creating a ripple effect that supports a healthier and more compassionate environment.
At Complete Stillness, we area committed to caring for ourselves as part of our responsibility to those we serve. By cultivating mindfulness and tending to our own well-being, we are better able to remain present and supportive in every interaction with our clients.
